Hi,

I am Kymmaree from Brisbane. I have an iPad2 and a Mini plus an iphone. I have used the ipad2 for quite a while but hoping to learn some tips and info on using it well. I really dislike iTunes and find it really hard to navigate...must be age or something! LOL

Welcome to iPF.

Just how big is Brisbane anyway. Seems like all of our Aussie members come from there, with the occasional popup from Adelaide of course.

Well, greetings from the frozen wastelands of western Canada. I hope you enjoy the forum as much as we will enjoy having you here.

Hi there and welcome.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend. If you can't find the answer you need and you post a question then give as much info as you can to help members help you i.e. iPad 1 or 2, etc. and iOS version and name of app if the problem is with a specific app........and please don't forget to read the forum rules http://www.ipadforums.net/forum-rules-help-info/2119-forum-rules-everybody-please-read.html

These are the hacking section rules for all you jail breakers (and would be jail breakers) http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-hacking/2892-hacking-section-rules-please-read.html

We also have an app for this forum. The link to download the app is: Discussion Forum for iPad Users for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

You can download the manual for your iPad here http://help.apple.com/ipad/6/ and here http://support.apple.com/manuals/ and in iBooks search for "iPad user guide for" and you will find free comprehensive manuals for iOS 4, 5, 6, etc.

If you have other Apple products or are interested in other Apple kit then why not join our sister forum too at http://www.appleforums.net/ and for iPhone users, come and join in the discussion over at http://www.iphoneforums.net

Brisbane ........pop = 2,146,000, density = 346/km2, area = 5949 km2
Darwin ..........pop = 129,062, density = 926/km2, area = 112 km2
Adelaide ........pop = 1.23million, density = 659/km2, area = 1826 km2
Perth ............pop = 1.83million, density = 285/km2, area = 5386 km2
Melbourne..... pop = 5.60million, density = 24/km2, area = 237,629 km2
A.C.T............ pop = 373,100, density = 160/km2, area = 2,358 km2

Hobart........... pop = 211,656 , density = 124/km2, area = 1695 km2

I think Brisbane has middle child syndrome, therefore independant, overlooked and tend to go their own way!

Thanks for that info. Fascinating. I had no idea Canberra was so small. I guess it's as big as it needs to be though.

Ah Canberra is our national capital and full of beaurocrats and public servants, We don't want to give them anymore room than they already have. LOL

thanks for the welcome
