New member on iPad Forum

As an experienced Mac user since the very beginning (about 30 years ago I guess), I am often puzzled by the differences between Mac OS and iOS!
A SandBoxed environment is really something new and strange to me, very different from a general file system.

I hope this forum will help me solving the difficulties I encounter with iPad.

You're welcome....there's a lot of info there and it may take you a while to get through it all but I can tell you it will be worth it in the end.
