Hello everyone! I'm new here and am eager to hear everyone's input and suggestions. I absolutely LOVE my iPad. With the small exception of no USB port. LOL

Take care!

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. I DO have one question for you guys. Has anyone found a way to easily connect your iPad with a seperate external hard drive either via wi-fi or bluetooth??

It seems like you have to do a lot of modifications and complicated things before you can do it. I just bought a Clickfree wireless 1TB drive new on ebay for less than $100 and I'd really like to use it with my iPad. Any info will be appreciated! I've read through some of the posts here, but haven't had time to really check them out.

Thanks!

Unfortunately at this time only two external drives work with the iPad, AirStash and Seagate's GoFlex Satellite. HyperDrive makes a USB hard drive for the iPad which uses the Apple Camera Connection Kit but it only works with photo or music files.

The most popular way to access additional file space is to use a third-party app for cloud storage. DropBox is probably the best and most popular.

That said Apple's iCloud will be available very soon and will be capable of storing music, photos, documents "and more" as they say so stay tuned!
