Hi all, I am new to the Apple world. I just purchased an IPad 2. I am learning the tricks and trades but I am sure to need plenty of assistance.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

This is called a folder and you can actually input 20 apps into a folder. To undo just press the folder to open it and then long press one of the apps until it jiggles, then select one of the apps and without lifting your finger slide it out onto the screen. The folder will now disappear. Just press the home button now and they will stop jiggling.
