Hello. New to this site. I guess this is where I can throw out my question for a response. Need help syncing my Gmail contacts with my iPad. My calendar and emails in Gmail work fine, but can't seem to figure out why my Gmail contacts aren't syncing. Any suggestions?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Did you set your gMail up as a regular email account or as an exchange account? I think you have do it as an exchange account...but someone should be along to confirm that...good luck!

Great! My Gmail contacts now sync with my iPad which is is a big help. However, now I get double entries for all my Events in my iPad calendar and in my Mailbox under "All Inboxes". Does anyone have suggestions or a remedy to quandary?

Thanks again. My gmail contacts are accessible on my iPad, the duplicate calendar entries have been eliminated--Yeah! Now one last
request (I hope). I'm still getting duplicate emails in my "All Inboxes" under Mailbox. There is a "Gmail" button and an "Exchange" button in my "Inboxes then just below that under an "Account" heading there is another "Gmail" and "Exchange" button. They're identical in appearance except for their color. Might this duplication have something to do with producing duplicate emails in my "All Inboxes" and if so, how can this be fixed. Thanks all for previous help. So far we're 2 for 2!
