My wife & I both have iPhone 3GS & iPad 2s. I'd decided after moving iPads to iOS 6 that there was little point in updating the software to the old iphones. Well for some reason I decided to update to iOS 6.0.1 on my iPhone today. My view is that I've shot myself in the foot as the restore process reloaded all apps I'd ever had previously and removed plus a load oof messages from 2011. This process caused me to go over my data limit for the month plus two additional increments with Vodafone. It seems that as I was out & about the phone didn't use the home wifi for mist of the process but mobile data. Some of my apps have disappeared altogether & I don't like the change it has made to sending text messages to multiple contacts. SO FAR I HAVE NOTHING BUT REGRET MOVING TO IOS 6.0.1!
