New on fixing gadgets

Hi am new here. Started to fix ipads, tablets and cell phones, lap tops a while back. Started out as a hobby, just like doing it. Am finding out that apple likes to catch third party parts and prevent them from working. Or at least thats been my experience. Just wanted to pop in and say hi!
