New owner....iv finally arrived into this millenia

Hi folks,

after debating wether to buy an Ipad since they first come out iv finally succumbed into temptation (much to the joy of my partner who now thinks its his, which is why im investing in a pink case.....in the hope that its scares him away)

I have bought an ipad 2, wishing i had bought the 3G one now as the hotel we are staying in on our next diving holiday only has modem connection in the rooms .

I Know nothing about Ipads & when its delivered tomorrow i will be staring at it vacantly for a few hours & beating off the kids with a stick. i shall be asking plenty of silly questions but need the replies in plain english as im a complete technophobe!......am im the only person in the country that doesnt own an ipod or iphone?

I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
