Hi, I have a problem with my ipad after installing a software update, it shuts down and does not restart.

Welcome to iPF! Have a good time here!
After the new iOS installs, the screen remains blacked out for about 3 minutes, at least that was the case for me. Seeing the time you posted, it should have booted by now. If not, then press the power button until the Apple logo appears, it should boot then.

Reset your iPad. You won't lose data or settings, and it's recommended after an update.
To do so: press and hold Home and Power button at the same time until the Apple logo appears. Release both and let the iPad power up. Hope that helps.

If what I said before didn't work, try connecting the iPad to a charger, or a computer. Connecting any iDevice to a power supply switches it on. In case even this should not work, you can try a hard reset of the iPad.
HARD RESET : Press and hold the power button and home button simultaneously for about 20-30 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
