New to forums & iPad.

Hi everyone! I'm Elizabeth in Sunny San Diego where it is currently cold and overcast. I am a proud mom to 3 boys (18,16, & 13), a boxer dog, and happy (most of the time) wife. I am also soon to be a first time iPad owner, though I do have an iPhone.

Pre-ordered my iPad to be picked up on the 16th from the Apple Store. I'm usually picking my boys up from school when UPS delivers to the neighborhood (you can, almost literally, set your watch by him), but can't be there until early afternoon when I get off work. Oh I can't wait until my 16yo finally gets his license!

Being a newbie to all this 1st day stuff, how does the pick up usually work? I'm hoping I won't get there only to have them tell me they sold mine off! I'd be a wee bit upset. Thanks for your help & I look forward to learning more from you all!

If you've already ordered your iPad you shouldn't have a problem. But the store is certainly going to be a madhouse on that day.
