New to iPad.

I live in the UK, have had pc's for many years, mainly at home for games, plus spreadsheets for business bits-and-pieces; also at work regularly. Now long retired and loving it!
Only saw iPad in operation a few months ago and knew I had to have one. So I got one, as soon as my birthday came around (good excuse).
I love the games, especially the low prices, but haven't got the quick responses any more to post big scores.
Love the key board, although I really miss the "delete" key and "arrow" keys.
Bought a "definitive guide to: iPad" book and it solved quite a lot of my technical problems but there are always some sticking points which aren't covered. So it's great that there is an iPad Forum which can be used when everything grinds to a halt, for want of a second thinking head.
I'm afraid that since I retired from work I seem to have lost ground with computer technology and don't twitter or tweet, although I am on Facebook, at odd times. The new iCloud introduced for the iPad is great, although I don't understand how it's all been achieved. It would be really great if I wasn't in such a poor broadband area. I can only get 3Mb on a good day and 0.4Mb upload. Such things are sent to try us!

Nice to meet you Ernier, don't talk to me about bandwidth..........I think my ZX81 was faster in the good old days!!! I have the same problem as you, BT have said that it is quite fast around 2am though.......maybe I should just rearange my work round it LOL
