New to the iPad world and need some help

Hey all my wife just got me a refurb iPad 2 and I'm slowly trying to slowly learning everything... My biggest thing right now is learning to use the caption option in YouTube since I can't use flash or QuickTime from what ive been told...any assistance on this would be highly appreciated... So far I've been told about 3 different apps: screens , log me in, and always on pc. They said this would allow me to access my laptop and use flash off of there therefore allowing me to edit the YouTube videos appropriately... Any suggestions or advice
