New to this Forum

Hi everyone! I just got my iPad and I have some questions re: adding attachments to e-mails. It seems like there's no attachment button anywhere when I'm composing a new message. Please help. Thank you!

Hi Analorraine16--Welcome to the forum!! Congratulations on your new ipad!! I am sure you have discovered how wonderful a device this pad is!! Regarding attachments and email. Yes, there is no attachment button as seen on regular email sites. If you would like to share something with a friend, you have start from the app of what you want to attach. For example, pictures--to to the photo icon/select and open picture--look to the upper right screen. There you will see a small box with a squiggly arrow. Press that-and a window will pop up asking if you would like to "share." Press "Share" and choose which email you want. There it will open up your email account and you can begin adding your contacts/ subject line and message.

You can also attach photos and like from within the native email app by using the copy and paste method.
