I am Mike Armstrong and just recently purchased a new ipad retina (that's what I call it.) So far I have enjoyed using it, but I lost some pages that I was working on. One of the pages I can't find is a book I put in ibooks. I don't know where I put it. (I downloaded the book from Kindle website. ) I am 62 and retired/disabled.

If you downloaded the book from the Kindle web site (I'm going to assume you mean Amazon), then I'm afraid you can't use iBooks to view that book. Amazon/Kindle e-book use proprietary software and so the books can only be read with the Kindle app.

It's free in the AppStore, so if you don't have it, it's easy to download. Once you have the app, go back to the Kindle site and try to get the book again. Actually, if it's in your Amazon account, you can go to your account via the Kindle app and download the book within the app.

Hope this helps. Holler back if you need more...
