Just bought an ipad, first gen, on ebay and I've found it to be intuitive but I miss the ability to open several tabs on my browser so I can comparative shop. Any work around for that?

For now get an alternative browser from the app store atomic or Icab are popular. iOS5 is bringing tabbed browsing to safari but that won't be until later in the year.
