Newbie here and I have a question. My iPad screen only show 1/2 the Face Time screen. How do I fix this? I've tried deleting the app and adding another to no avail. Help please. (This site intimidates me. Maybe because I'm 67!?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Have you tried the immediate fixes such as closing out your apps? To do this, double press the home button until the apps show as thumbnails. Swipe upward to close each app out.

If that doesn't work, try restarting your iPad. To do this, press the power button until you get the lock screen to power off. Re-test to see if that helped.

Finally, if all else fails--do a reset. To do this, press the power button and home button at the same time until your iPad shuts down. It may take a few seconds, so be patient.

Good luck!

Hmm. You must be running an older version of iOS. FaceTime is no longer a separate app for the iPad.

If Skimonkey's suggestions do not help, I have a couple of questions that 'might' lead to an idea or two. At the moment I have none.

When you say half the screen, what half are you talking about? A more detailed description may help.

What version of iOS are you running. You can find out in the Settings app under General > About.

What model of iPad do you have?

No need to be intimidated. Very few of us actually bite. :)
