Newbie here...

Greetings folks,

It's been suggested I start a thread as a newcomer here so here it is.

Bought an iPad early last year in preparation for an extended trip, leaving Oregon on an open-ended journey traveling from organic farm to organic farm working in exchange for room and board. Gave myself a choice between the iPad or a MacBook and chose the iPad. Have been happy with it mostly and at times wish I'd opted for the MacBook for its ability to save stuff. There are workarounds, but still.

Now in Tallahassee and there seems to be zero support around here for Macs which is weird because, you know, college town. Anyway, I'm here at ipadforums now because my email app hasn't been working right for a good month now (I only write when I need something, right?).

As a newbie I'm not sure this intro topic is the right place to post my problem so I'll look around a bit to find the right place for that.

When you have trouble with an email account, it's a good idea to delete the account from Mail, and re-enter the relevant info. That usually kicks it into life.
