Newbie iPad user!

Hey all,

Just bought my very first iPad yesterday - iPad 3 64GB 4G+Wifi - Black.:ipad-front:

Came across this site while looking for info on how to check my Wifi speed.

Have installed a few free apps based on other site recommendations and am trying them out to see if they're for me.

Also have a Windows 7 Netbook - 2yrs old and a desktop pc running Windows 7, which forms my entertainment hub - games, music, movies, etc, etc.

I am new user ! Can you help out ? I want to play movies in my ipad but I cant sync with my desk Mac - the movies (avi files) dont open in Itunes ??? Is there apps for video playing on Ipad ??
