Not downloading Pdf files completely...

I have a 1st generation IPAD, I downloaded a 36mb PDF file and it does not completely download the all the photos attached to it. It randomly downloads some but not all. It is a catalogue with pics and text.
Can anyone shed light as to why it is only downloading a partial?

Are you trying to open this PDF via the web (e.g. Safari)? Cause sometimes Safari won't open all pictures and such.

If you have Goodreader, try putting a "g" in the very front of the URL (before the http:// part) and see if you can open it there. Goodreader is designed to read PDFs moreso than Safari.

Alternatively, can you provide us the link (well, if it's a family safe PDF/site :D)? It may be that there's something about your set up and if we have the link to test ourselves, we might be able to help.

Sorry, I have been away all weekend. Is Goodreader a PDF program that I can download onto my iPAD no problem?

Yes, it's primary purpose is to be a PDF reader/annotator. Though some here refer to it as the "Swiss Army Knife" of apps because of its versatility. Last I checked, it was $4.99 (USD) in the App Store.

I'm not going to say that it will solve your download problem; I can't know that. I will tell you that I think it's one of the best apps out there for reading PDFs (and for file management, file transfer, storage, etc.). As usual, and as always - YMMV.
