Notepad for Internet uploads

Hi all,
Happy Christmas to you.
As a newbie you guessed I got this ipad2 from Santa.

On my windows computer, I type cricket scorecards on notepad, which in the typed format (no HTML) I then use to upload on to the Internet see cricketarchive.com

Notepad is very basic just a blank document screen that can be saved, is there something similar I could use to do the same on my ipad2.
