Numbers - how to transfer files

If no internet connection, and want to transfer from iPad to laptop, of which the laptop is not the computer that is used for sync-ing the iPad with.

In Quickoffice and Office2 HD, we could use wifi connection for such, but in Numbers there none, what to do?

I have actually bought a wireless router for the purpose of file transfer.
