Old guy asking for help

I recently purchased a used iPAD 2. Although it is working well for what I need now, I would like to clear settings that the previous user used. I have the information that the previous owner said I would need to do this, but I don't know where to start. An help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to iPad Forums!

Go to the Settings app, select iCloud, and disable “Find my iPad”. You will have to enter the password of the iCloud account. That done, sign out of iCloud.

Then go to Settings - General - Reset, and select “Erase all Content and Settings”. That will remove every information and app from the iPad, and set it back to default, without the previous owner’s information on it.

Hope that helps.
