In an interview, which is set to be broadcasted later this week, Oracle’s CEO Larry Ellison, expressed his concerns about Apple’s future without Steve Jobs. Ellison was a noted friend of the former CEO and he considered the man a genius. Apparently, he also believes no one can ever take his place. He stated:

“He was – he was brilliant. I mean, our Edison. He was our Picasso. He was an incredible inventor.â€

The interviewer Charlie Rose, wanted to know more. What will happen to Apple next, after Steve Jobs is no longer in the picture?

Ellison replied that the answer to that question is already known. The experiment, according to him, was already over. He argued that we already saw how the company was under Steve Jobs and without Steve Jobs. He was of course referring to a period between the 1980s and 1990s when Jobs was absent from the company.

“We saw -- we conducted the experiment. I mean, it's been done. We saw Apple with Steve Jobs. We saw Apple without Steve Jobs. We saw Apple with Steve Jobs. Now, we're gonna see Apple without Steve Jobs."

He expressed his worries that might be headed towards a gloomy future ahead and might slowly enter a cone of shade. Without a brilliant inventor like Steve Jobs, the company should be extra cautious. The scenario is however, quite unlikely, since CEO Tim Cook announced some brand new products to hit the market somewhere in autumn. We certainly look forward to see the iWatch in retail stores!

Mr. Ellison must be shorting Apple's stock to be saying those things! Lol

What he fails to remember or doesn't know altogether is that Steve Jobs left years of product ideas behind for Apple to develop.
