Outgoing Mail Problem when not at home

I have an iPad first generation. I am able to send emails and receive emails when at home but when away, I am only able to receive emails and not send them. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?

if you can send/receive from home then the email account should be setup in the iPad correctly.



Are you trying it from work? maybe they are blocking the connection at what ever location your at that it isn't working.
