Outlook and iTunes

I uninstalled outlook from PC but now every time I connect to iTunes it spends ages looking for the .pst file. Both the iPad and iPhone are set to sync and backup to iCloud and there is nothing for iTunes to go to outlook for all boxes are unselected. How do I get rid of this connection between iTunes and outlook? Thanks!

Have you upgraded yet to iOS5 and the new version of iTunes, 10.5?

Yes to both. It was after I had upgraded that I decided to dump Outlook and use the iPad for email. Finally tracked the problem down and reinstalled office, took it off pc then reinstalled it without outlook, rebooted and problem solved. Good to know you are all on here. Have downloaded new manuals for iPad and iPhone too. Thanks.
