Am taking my iPad to Italy. How do I password protect my iPad

Several things you can do.

Make sure you're signed up for 'Find My Pad'. It's free and will enable you to locate your iPad if it's lost. Not too much help if it's stolen as the thief will simply restore the iPad but helpful if you accidentally misplace it. There's plenty of information on the Apple iPad website about this.

Make sure you use the extra-secure screen lock - rather than the rather easier 4 digit one.

Make sure you back up your iPad before you go.

Make sure it's insured, just in case.....
