It's a great program - there's an app for the iPad and a (free) app for the PC or Mac. It works on both your local network and from outside too. No complex port configuration settings on your router either. You just provide both apps with your gmail address and it does the rest by magic....

Very fast too, if you have a good WiFi network...

Splash top has a great feature where it links to your gmail and allows you to connect to your computer even when it isn't on your wifi!

Ok I've got splashtop now and I must say it's impressive.

One thing I'd like advice on however;

Is there any way of improving the video quality ?

I tried YouTube on my iPad and it was as smooth as I'd like it to be.

The primary reason I got splashtop was to watch streamed sports on my iPad.
