photo app - view photos

at one time i could view photos via photo booth. now all i have is a grey material looking screen. help! how do i get rid of that grey screen? i should note that the photos are located at the bottom of the screen! thanks!!!!

Try to reset the app. Double-press the Home button to open the multi-task bar. Then press and hold any icon in the bar until they all start to jiggle. Then touch the upper left-hand corner of the app you want to close. This closes - but does not delete - the app and resets it. Now press the Home button again to close the multi-task bar and see if the problem persists.
