Photo Manager Pro import/export problem

Recently installed Photo Manager Pro (v 4.2.3) on my ipad 4 (iOS 6.1.3). I tried to use the HTTP transfer - Photo Server (wi-fi) to import photos from my pc (win 7). Couldn't get it to work until I turned the ipad off and then back on again. I then imported a bunch of photos, but have not been able to reestablish communication since. Tried different browsers and a different computer with no luck - "could not connect" message. Tried to transfer from my iphone 5 (iOS 6.1.3) - took several tries but managed to work once, but never since. Also, I have never been able to establish the P2P link between ipad and iphone. Wi-fi internet working fine from ipad and pc. HELP!
