Photo stream dilemma

Hi all!

I'm a new iPad user and am obviously extremely happy with my new toy! Who wouldn't be?

My current problem however is that I'm unable to delete photos from my photo stream...

Also, how can I prevent duplicate photos? If I save or move a photo to a certain folder, it still remains in the photo stream...

Help anyone?

Thanks!

Photo stream is all or nothing. You can't delete individual photos from it.

There are no duplicate photos. The originals remain in photo stream because the photos you "copy" to any other album aren't really copies. They're just links to the actual photos in photo stream.

As Kaykaykay says, all or nothing - anyway you can use another app i.e. Snapseed to open a photo from photo stream and save it to your camera roll - this way you have it not only in your photo stream and when you delete it from photo stream it remains in your camera roll.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

This is just how the native photo app works on the iPad. You can save the photos you want from your stream to your camera roll and then delete the photos in the stream. To delete the photos from the stream you will have to do this on your PC/Mac through iCloud and yes it will be all of them.
