Photos' Albums became empty after itunes sync!

I have many photos in the "Photos" app of my ipad and I spent hours organizing them in Albums using the ipad.

Today I performed an itunes sync of a folder in my PC containing additional photos. After that, various of the Albums I had previously created in my ipad became empty (the photos still are in the ipad but the Albums are empty).

Feedbacks on why this happened would be greatly appreciated.

I think you have to go to iTunes click your device and then sync instructions and check photos etc..
