Playing movies I purchased on iTunes while in aiirplane mode ???

I am new to the iPad and purchased a movie on iTunes. Can I watch it while in airplane mode? It is downloaded onto my iPad. Thanks.

Test it and see. Just turn on Air Plane mode and see if the movie plays. It should, though, since it is downloaded.

If it is downloaded in the video app then it will work.

if you're in the airplane they might want you to stop playing it until take off then you can continue watch it should be fine :ipad-keyboard:

It turns off ALL antennas inside the iPad. Supposedly, so you can use the iPad on an airplane and claim that you aren't going to be the one to cause the plane to crash during take-off or landing.

If a flight attendant says turn off the iPad, you'd better be doing that than arguing about airplane mode.

A friend turned on the airplane mode and threw his iPad up in the air - he was very disappointed when it fell down and shattered! ;-)

I got it to work. Had to go through video icon at bottom on screen and not iTunes. Thanks for the advice.
