Post pics to CL

All of a sudden I can't post pictures to craigslist, is it CL or my Ipad?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Are you using the Craigslist app? When an app behaves strangely it is best to close it completely and then relaunch it. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly. Let us know how you go.

Thank you so much for the reply as I tried what you said and it did not change my ability to post on craigslist but you did show me a few steps about my IPad that I did not know! I have not posted on any kind of forum before and am very new to all of this and am learning. If you have any more possibilities as to why I can't post to CL I would really appreciate the help and yes I am using the app! Thanks again!

You're welcome, I remember what it was like to be new here, this was my first Forum also and I knew nothing about it....that seems so long ago now.

Closing your apps completely is the first step when you have a problem with your iPad. The next are a restart and if that doesn't do the trick then a reset. A reset in this instance will not change anything on your pad and is akin to rebooting a PC.

Restart - Press and hold the power off button, the one at the top right. You will see a slide appear to power off, slide this and the screen will go dark and a Whirly will appear. When the Whirly disappears your iPad is now off. Press the power button again until the Apple logo appears, this will take a few seconds and your iPad will restart. You should restart your iPad occasionally also as it will keep it running well. Now see if it is operating.

Reset - Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you will see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start.

Let us know if this fixes your problem.

Thank you for the reply! I am still unable to post pictures on craigslist. I have even tried by way of Internet and not through an app. I can post from my laptop but not my iPad. I'm just a bit confused...it was working and all at once not! Someone said CL changed their picture format, and it no longer works for iPad or iPhones. Could that be possible or is it my iPad problem? This site has been sooo helpful in educating me on things I didn't even know existed!

You might be able to post picture on Craigslist using the iCab Browser App.

Its not your IPad, its Craigslist. They changed their site and now IPads and Iphones are not able to upload pics to it as I have both, tried both, and both fail. I emailed Craigslist twice and have gotten no response from them.

Just to say I updated my iPad to the latest iOS, which I guess I needed to do that anyway, but, (sigh...) CL still doesn't let me post pictures! I know it's CL but something should work. I also have sent emails to CL with no response from them...
