I got the new paid app for Craigslist thinking it would allow me to post pictures, however it will not. Is there a problem, or is it just me not doing it correctly. I have had the same problem with the free version of Craigslist as well. Thanks for any help.

I recently was on Craigslist and received what appeared to be a pop up stating that I had won that weeks IPad giveaway. I went through a demographic questionaire and the only personal questions requested were age, birthdate, education level, income strata, and E-mail. There were several advertisers for mortgage refinance, monthly coupons, insurance, etc. that you could either ignore (which I did) or navigate through. After approximately 30 minutes I. Was told that my IPad would be shipped by 2-3 days to my address. I was amazed that my son found the package outdoors this morning! I NEVER win anything, and I am still curious. My older was curious if anyone could hardwire the machine to harvest data, credit data while being used? Has anyone had a similar experience such as this? Maybe this is legit? Call me a doubting Thomas.......but Outside of some new junk E-mails I have not noted anything unusual electronically/financially.

If the iPad is in factory original condition when received, it has no apps or anything else downloaded to it. You can't hardwire the iPad with programs designed to Harvest personal data. All you have to do is download your selection of apps and other content and enjoy your new iPad.

If you are truly concerned about what might be on that iPad you received - connect it to iTunes and select Restore. Do not elect to "restore from backup" - elect to restore as new. This will put a "fresh" iOS 6.0.2 on the iPad and it will be just as it came from the factory (or if you bought it from the Apple store).

Congratulations on getting the iPad. I hope you enjoy it.
