Being offered an ipad mini 16gb wifi with 10 months warrantee and official case for £250. What to do?

Assuming it's not new (it can't be with 10 months warranty) I'd say it's not a good deal. A new iPad mini is £259 and I got a new case for mine (not official) for less than £10. If you are really looking for a bargain, keep an eye on the Apple refurb store as they have discounts which will get you a mini even cheaper and you get the same warranty as if you bought it new.

I need to get my eyes checked! You're quite right. However, if you keep an eye on the refurb store on the same page you are likely to grab a bargain with a few £'s off the new price. I saved about £30-40 as I recall on my 32GB mini.

Thanks, have declined the offer of the used one and will keep my eyes peeled although could pay full price at John Lewis as they give 2 year warrantee apparently as opposed to Apples 1 year.
