Hi Susan- welcome to the forum!

After checking your HP printer in the link provided and also a description on Amazon, you should be AirPrint compatible - if not already done, may I suggest that you 'power recycle' (i.e. pull the plug or turn it on-off if there is a power switch) the printer and try again. If not successful, you may want to visit the HP website to see if a firmware upgrade is available for your printer and/or check their FAQs & support - good luck and please let us know your results?
