Printing from iPad 1

Can anyone please tell me how to set up my iPad to print? I have just purchased a epson sx435w printer and don't know what to do.

Please help if you can

Your iPad should find it if it's on your wireless network. I just bought the same printer and tried to print a email and my iPad found the printer automatically. Did you link the printer to your wireless network?
