Problem Synching Photos

I downloaded a number of photos from an app I found in the App Store. The app was called "Travel Wallpapers HD Free." It includes 50 TERRIFIC outdoor photos (birds, animals, mountain scenes, etc.) One of the photos now serves as my wallpaper.

The app includes the ability to copy the photos into my photo library, which I did.

However, when I synch my iPad to my computer, the photos from Travel Wallpapers don't make it onto my computer.

Why not?

Try "Photo Transfer App" in the apps store. It will transfer photos to and from PC, iPad, iPod and iPhones in any combination such as iPad to iPhone, etc. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot.

The photos of my great granddaughter are jpg pics, of course. I'm not sure what the other photos are - as I said, they came in an app I loaded onto my iPad directly from the Store.

But here's the problem - the photos of my great granddaughter synched up just fine. I didn't need a special app or program to do it. Why won't these other photos do the same?

Once you will have the Wallpapers pictures on you PC iTune, it will sync fine.

If Pocobear's suggestion does not work, the wallpaper is most likely stored in the app's local file folders. Unless the application has an export options your choices are limited. There are a couple programs that let you browse your iPad's file system via the USB port on computer. These programs run on the computer, not the iPad.

Though I've heard them mentioned I don't remember their names or where to get them. You can research it via Google, or maybe someone in the know will chime in.

One last thought. Those pictures may be licensed for your use in that app, on the iPad. That does not mean that they are free for you to use anywhere. Depends on where the dev got them. So while you may not have a problem with them for personal use it wouldn't be advisable to make professional use of them, or pass them out for free. I don't think this is what you had in mind, but I figured I'd mention it anyway. Like music, art is usually only something you buy the right to use personally.
