Problems uploading photos

Since I updated to ios 17.1.1, I can no longer upload photos to Mastodon or Facebook. I suspect it's something to do with security settings but can't locate anything meaningful in the security settings for safari or photos.

Actually I've solved it with a forced restart when I discovered the other iPad pro had no problems

I find that after any software update it pays to do a soft reset. It seems to clear all sorts of compatibility problems with apps.

Yes. What bothers me though is that I found out how to do a force restart the day before and had performed it, noticing the problem only the next day.
