Profile avatars

I look my ipad2 and really enjoy reading this forum but I am jealous of users with a profile picture or avatar. How do I add one?

If you are on an ipad, you can only use images from websites, if on a pc/mac, then you can upload a pic

Tapatalk app allows adding from your photo library and even renders to the correct size for you. Just open the forum, check your profile, change avatar
I'm not sure if the IPF app allows changing the avatar.
Icab browser allows uploading pictures to the forum but you have to size them yourself first.

Wytey do you have to reach a certain number of posts before your avatar becomes visible? I've updated my profile pic but no change in the forums.

The link you posted Wytey is for your profile pic. Need to use edit avatar http://www.ipadforums.net/profile.php?do=editavatar for your own avatar to be visible in the forums.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
