Push gmail

Hi all, I have gmail account set up on my ipad2, I'm trying to set it up for push email, but it will only let me set up on fetch. Is there a way to get gmail to push, maybe using another email program?

The best way is setup your email as exchange server.

Though even the standard setup should have allowed push. I wonder why it isn't working.

Push email is not working on either my iPad or iPhone. What has changed that is preventing this? OS upgrade? This needs to be fixed!
