question about itunes

Hi everybody:

I don't really like itunes.

But now as an ipad owner I have to make this question.

Is itunes really necessary for a ipad owner ???
Can I make full use of my ipad without it ??

With ios5 and wireless transfer yes you can....

Only it's more convenient, easier and logical to use iTunes. You can get media to and from your iPad without iTunes, but you must seek out and learn the alternatives. I too hate iTunes, but have learned to tolerate it to make my iPad experience a lot smoother and easier.

iTunes is a million times easier than say, Winamp or Windows Media Player...
