Remote brick app

Is there an app that will brick a pad remotely if it is stolen?
Wifi version.

Believe it's something to do with Apple's Mobile Me service.
Annual fee and you would need to check it out as I think it's designed for 3g.

Mobile Me service is your best bet.

track its location via wifi and GPS.
Lock it so no one can use it.
Display a message on the screen
Make it beep for 15 minutes.
Delete everything on it.


There is nothing you can do to actualy BRICK the device.

yeah .. I was hoping there was some other app too aside from Mobile Me. With all the apps in the app store, you would think there would be one (even to just track your ipad) but I guess if there was one, big brother would block it

Yes it still works if you jailbreak.



also there are some apps in cydia for tracking your iphone(ipad possibly) However these apps put a huge strain on the battery because they are constantly running in the background and using the GPS.

Mobile me doesnt drain the battery any because it only works when you log into the website and are using it.
