I keep getting 1 update in AppStore which I cant update cos it says I dont own it.

How to remove meta data to iStore?

I had a similar problem. I had a huge update for an app I longer wanted so I deleted the app and the '1' by the app store stayed there even though I deleted it. The only way I got around this was to plug my iPad into iTunes and re sync apps and remove the app I deleted which also needed updating from my library

You will only get metadata problems if you download apps illegally. You will receive no help here.
Anybody that tries to help is in risk of getting banned.

Sounds as if the solution to your problem is two-fold:

(1) Delete the app you have on your iPad that you didn't pay for and then go to the App Store and buy the app. Then, you won't have any trouble with updates in the future.

(2) Don't be a pirate! That's stealing and we do not condone that here at iPadForums.net. Please read the rules of this forum - they are very clear cut.

Noozie: Consider this a warning - no discussion (or any help with) pirated apps and any subsequent issues/problems.

Why don't you just close the thread now?

Edit: I mean, no point in leaving it open as Metadata issues = piracy, correct?

Why does it matter?

It does matter, Grayson. Gzoladz is correct.
