Removing Unwanted Movie Downloads

I have 4 movie rentals that started to download and failed because I ran out of space on my 16gb Ipad. I cannot seem to remove them from the Itunes download section on the Ipad. I have backed up to my pc then done a restore but they keep coming back. Anybody able to assist or suggest?

go to itunes download , then swipe to the right , the delete option will appear

I am a newbie...I was having the same problem trying to delete tv shows from my ipad to upload more. I clicked on videos, then click on EDIT top right, an X will come up beside the show, click delete.
