Rented TV episodes from ITunes to IPad not transferring

Hi All,

I tried to rented a whole buch of old Grey's Anatomy episodes yesterday from my iPad and it told me to use my itunes so I went to my iTunes and rented them there thinking I could sync them this morning. Now the rented episodes are in my library file but when I try to syn (or move them to my Ipad), I get an error message saying "This episode was not copied to the Ipad because it cannot pay in the iPad".... HOw do I get these transferred?

Thanks in advance for all the advise - I am new at this and still very clumsy....
