Reverse deleting

Is there a way to reverse the direction of the delete button? Ie: to delete what is in front of the cursor, not behind?

I would like to know this too. It's very frustrating to only be able to delete backwards.

Unfortunately, no. Apple only has the backspace style key, not a delete key.

You can, however, put the cursor wherever you wish as you're preparing to back it up. Cold comfort, I know, but that's the best we can do.

This missing feature is atrocious. I really hate that Apple loves to make the simple complicated while they make the complicated simple.
