Why can you rotate images on the iPad in your IMPORTED album, but you can't rotate them in your SAVED album?

Do you mean rotate the actual image or the screen rotate when looking at pictures.

This may help:

Download "PhotoShop Express" for free.

Once downloaded, use the app to select photos, and edit them; ie, rotate, crop, etc.

Save image.

Yes, i already have that. I was just wondering why you have a rotate option in the IMPORTED album, but not in the SAVED album.

I can't rotate in either type of album. There is no tool that I can find, and the pinch rotate just springs back to the original.

How are you doing it?

Same here - I tried to rotate those that have been imported - I can't do it

See attached image. You must be viewing an image to get the rotate tool. I get the option to rotate in the IMPORTED albums, but not in the SAVED album. I have iOS 4.2.1

Hmm not sure, I have the same version but for me I cant rotate any pics unless I turn the whole Ipad. BTW I added you in we rule.

So let's see if we can pinpoint the difference.

Can everyone list their build number as well as OS version?

Go to Settings, General, About and see the parenthetic number right after the OS Version. At least I assume this is a build number. It should be the same, but who knows.

Also, who is syncing pictures on a PC or Mac, and using iTunes or other?

Can anyone else think what might be different?
