[FONT=&]Rovio has today announced its latest iOS game, which comes from UK studio, Nitrome, and which it says is the first game to be published as part of its Rovio Star publishing initiative, designed to introduce new games featuring “engaging gameplay, memorable characters and plenty of suprises!†Basically, what it means is that Rovio puts its publishing might behind indie developers who have submitted their games, and generally takes them under their wing (no Angry Birds pun intended!). By the looks of Icebreaker, Rovio has managed to pick a winner with the first fruit of the new initiative. In the game, it’s your job to help a band of Vikings, in your role as icebreaker apprentice, to escape peril in the land of trolls, traps, and lots of ice! Gameplay involves cutting through tangles of ice, ropes, traps, troll snot (!) and chickens to help get your Vikings out of trouble! There are 95 levels in total, chock full of puzzles, side quests, boss battles and lots of laughs as well.[/FONT]
