Hi, I am new to iPad, so her are my questions for easy answers:

1. I run iCloud and have all my safari bookmarks set on mini shown safari browser on my ipad3. But my homepage icon is not shown and I have no way to quickly open my homepage on ipad3. So how do I get my homepage icon shown on my ipad3 safari? Or how to set homepage for my safari on ipad3?

2. I have/can listen to the Radio in my mac mini's iTunes, but couldn't find it in my ipad3's iTunes. How can I bring Radio up in my ipad3 iTunes?

Thanks for help.

There is no Homepage setting in Safari on the iPad. There are a couple of things you can do to make it easier to get to a site you wish to visit often.

The first is to place the site in your Bookmark Bar. This makes it easy to get to the site with a single tap after opening Safari.

The second is to save the site as a shortcut on your Home Screen. This creates an icon on the Home Screen that will open Safari to the saved page. Once created you treat it like any other app icon. Here is a quick guide for doing both.

The music station ability in iTunes on the computer is missing from the iPad, but there a several other options available to you via third party. Pandora will let you create your own virtual stations and listen to them.

Or

A streaming radio app like TuneIn Radio will give you a huge list of radio stations world wide to pick from and listen to. You can even add your own stations if you have a URL for them.

Those are the two apps I use most, but there are many many others.

Thanks, TPoet. Bookmark and Home screen are both good for me. I download TuneIn Radio and it's great. Now I downloaded an unwanted app, but don't know how to delete it. Any quick tip? Tks

Tap and hold on any app. When all the apps start to jiggle, tap on the (x) at the top left corner of the unwanted app and it will be deleted. You can also drag your apps around to rearrange them, to the edge of the screen to move them to a different home screen, or drag them on top of each other to create folders. Tap the Home button when finished.

Thank you so much, TPoet. You made my new ipad use a very good/easy start. (will bother again later :)

For the last six months I have happily listened to 'Radio' on Itunes on my windows PC in sunny Scotland. However after upgrading to latest iTunes version yesterday , the menu bar is changed to 'internet' - still lists the stations but will not connect to radio server - Is this a UK only problem or a setting issue I wonder ??? -

Sounds like Apple discontinued the old internet radio service* when the activated the new iTunes Radio. I have not looked (not at home right now), but I'm betting the newest version of iTunes, 11.1, does not even show the old internet radio option.

Unfortunately the new service is not available outside the U.S. yet.

For services similar to iTunes Radio on the iPad and desktop try Pandora or Spotify, and a couple others I can't remember at the moment.

For services similar to the old internet service I use TuneIn on the iPad. I'm not sure if it is available in the UK, but I'm sure you have similar apps. On the computer there is bound to be a website or app to replace this feature, but I haven't been looking.

*{the internet radio service was only available in iTunes on a computer}
